Intel Security the software giant today announced a new partnership with Indian smartphone maker Micromax mobiles, bringing its comprehensive mobile security options to Micromax’ phones in the country. As a part of the new deal, Micromax phones starting April 2017 will come with a system which will have McAfee Mobile Assistant integrated in it.
The McAfee Mobile Assistant is an all-in-one mobile security solution for android mobile phones, offering protection from risky apps, malware and potentially unwanted programs and harmful viruses. Micromax phones starting from April 2017 will come with this app pre-loaded. Some existing Micromax phones will get this app via an OTA update. The app installed via OTA update will be the same as the one that will come pre-loaded on existing phones. So the lucky ones getting the OTA update we congratulate you.
